We have traffic jams in America, but they usually involve cars. There are cars here in The Gambia, but you don’t see them that often outside the Kombo area. Only rich people - of which there are frightfully few in the provinces (i.e., everywhere except Kombo and maybe Basse) - have their own cars, so you’re left with just a smattering of taxis and geles to contend with as you make your way from one region of the country to another.

Okay, it’s a bit outdated, but still check this out. This is, from what I understand, the best-guess model of a home computer, 50 years in the future - from the year 1954. Makes you wonder a bit: what do we currently think things will be like in 50 years? How far off are we?
